Good for	Strategies for breaking free of the traditional ideas that keep women from being successful.
Not good for	A quick boost. This book is pretty involved, and not as funny as the title makes it seem.

Why?	Damn, it's just so cute!! It was impossible to resist.
Attractiveness of Book	Very very cute!!!! It's a soft blue with stripes and it's a little bit puffy.
Embarrasing to carry/be caught reading?	No. It's really cool.
Brief summary	A girl's guide to being stylish and sassy.
Good for	Hints for sassiness. Reassurance that your quirky behavior is actually charming!
Not good for	When you want to be anti-social. This book is for when you want to turn on the charm.

Why?	I read a couple of pages and laughed my ass off.
Attractiveness of Book	Really cute and little, so it would fit in a purse. Vinyl cover, so protected from spills.
Embarrasing to carry/be caught reading?	No. Unless your drink squirts out of your nose when it makes you howl with laughter.
Brief summary	Riotous tips for being "bad" and getting all of the great things you deserve.
Good for	When you need a big laugh.
Not good for	When you want serious direction. This book is tongue in cheek.
This book is like...	Like spending an afternoon trying on funny costumes and cracking yourself up.

How I acquired it	I bought it.
Why?	My therapist recommended it. She is way into this Buddhist shit, isn't she?
Attractiveness of Book	Really attractive, in a plain way. I loved the picture on the cover of a sidewalk with a red leaf on it.
Embarrasing to carry/be caught reading?	No. It's more a study of Buddhist ideas than a self help book. At least that's what I'm telling anyone who asks.
Brief summary	Guides you to a more peaceful existence through Buddhist teaching.
Good for	When you are feeling overwhelmed by life.
Not good for	When you don't want to think, you just want to look at pretty pictures and eat mini-donuts.
This book is like...	Wading into a cool bubbling brook or meditating on a cushion or um, pruning your banzai tree...I don't know man, it's just all mellow.

Not good for	When you are looking for concrete advice to follow.
This book is like...	Hanging out an a cool coffee shop and people watching.
